Since analog image transmission does not have an encoding process, it has significant advantages over digital image transmission in terms of delay. Therefore, although the image quality of analog image transmission may not be as good as digital image transmission, its low-latency characteristics make it the first choice for FPV drones.



In addition, analog image transmission also has its unique features in terms of stability. In the case of insufficient transmission bandwidth or poor network conditions, analog image transmission can ensure stable data transmission by reducing the image quality, while digital image transmission may experience image interruption or frame loss in these situations. Digital image transmission technology is usually more complex and more expensive. For FPV drone enthusiasts with limited budgets, analog image transmission is undoubtedly a more economical choice.


Of course, this does not mean that digital image transmission has no application value in the field of FPV drones. In certain specific situations, such as when high-definition image quality is required for aerial photography or film and television production, digital image transmission undoubtedly has incomparable advantages. However, in scenes such as FPV drone racing or fast crossing, the low latency and stability of analog image transmission make it a more suitable choice.
